Cattle and sheep prices from Stirling auctions
Caledonian Marts Ltd, Stirling, sold 262 cattle comprising 115 prime bullocks, heifers and young bulls, 92 OTM cattle, 55 calves. Prime bullocks topped at 245p for a Limousin from Brockwoodlees and to £1,560 for a Limousin from Parkhouse . Prime Heifers sold to 255p for a Limousin from Leariela and to £1,565 also from Learielaw. Young Bulls sold to 205p from Lower Greenyards.

Caledonian Marts Ltd sold 1,557 sheep. The sale average for 976 was 198p (+7.4p on the week). Top price went to Pitcairn for 45kg Beltex lambs at £108 and Easter Coates for three 65kg Texels at £108.
