Min­is­ter praises fam­ily char­ity’s work as ‘in­spir­ing’

Gov­ern­ment min­is­ter Aileen Camp­bell en­joyed a kick­about with chil­dren at a Fife char­ity which brings to­gether sib­lings liv­ing apart.

The Cabi­net Sec­re­tary for Com­mu­ni­ties and Lo­cal Gov­ern­ment learned of the work done by Sib­lings Re­united (Star) with broth­ers and sis­ters sep­a­rated by fam­ily cir­cum­stances. She de­scribed her visit to its premises near New­burgh as “in­spir­ing yet emo­tional”.

First Min­is­ter Ni­cola Stur­geon had been due to at­tend but can­celled and Ms Camp­bell stepped in. She is pic­tured front cen­tre right in the red coat chat­ting with Karen Mor­ri­son, founder of Sib­lings Re­united.
