Minister praises family charity’s work as ‘inspiring’
Government minister Aileen Campbell enjoyed a kickabout with children at a Fife charity which brings together siblings living apart.
The Cabinet Secretary for Communities and Local Government learned of the work done by Siblings Reunited (Star) with brothers and sisters separated by family circumstances. She described her visit to its premises near Newburgh as “inspiring yet emotional”.
First Minister Nicola Sturgeon had been due to attend but cancelled and Ms Campbell stepped in. She is pictured front centre right in the red coat chatting with Karen Morrison, founder of Siblings Reunited.
