Woman left needing medical help after fire in flats bin store
A woman had to be helped by paramedics after a fire in a block of flats in Kirkcaldy.
The blaze broke out in the bin store of the flats on Pratt Street at around 7.30pm on Friday.
Firefighters from the town’s station and the ambulance service were sent to the scene.
It is understood police closed the road, near Stark’s Park football stadium, while the flames were extinguished.
A spokeswoman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “There was a fire on the ground floor bin store.
“A female received precautionary checks from the ambulance service.”
