Teenager to be sentenced for assault on pregnant girlfriend

A Dunfermline teenager has admitted attacking his pregnant girlfriend by kicking and punching her.

At Dunfermline Sheriff Court Reigh Braidwood, 19, of Shields Road, admitted a string of offences involving his partner at Ogilvie Street, Dundee, on May 20.

He admitted assaulting her by kicking her on the head and body and by throwing a remote control at her and behaving in a threatening or abusive manner towards her.

Braidwood also admitted breaching a bail order preventing him from contacting her on September 12.

He is in custody in respect of other allegations and is to be sentenced on February 6.
