Bosses to ‘ask, listen and talk’

Employers across Fife are to be given a new mental health toolkit to help them support workers.

It is hoped the approach by Fife Health and Social Care Partnership, Fife Voluntary Action and Opportunities Fife will create mentally healthy workplaces.

The toolkit urging bosses to ask, listen and talk was promoted at an event, hosted by Pegs Bailey, left, at Rothes Halls in Glenrothes yesterday. A plan to help more people with mental health problems into the workplace was unveiled.

The strategy is the culmination of 18 months of work by the team’s Joint Mental Health and Employability Forum.
