Spring Lambs (101) sold to a top of 264p for a Beltex X from Meikle Seggie, and to a top of £125 for a Beltex from Easter Cash. Overall average was 213ppkg (-22p on week). Some 523 Hoggets sold to a top of 229p from Cuiltburn and to a top of £112 from Craigend.

Hoggets Beltex £110 Cuiltburn, Texel £100 Knockhill, Continenta­l £100 Cuiltburn, Texel X £98 Grange of Lindores, Continenta­l X £98 Balaclava.

Also forward were 499 Cast Ewes and Tups. Light Ewes ave £58.49 selling to £78 for a pen of Cheviots from West Dron, Bridge of Earn. Cast Tups sold to £93 for a pair of Texels from Finmont .

Lawrie & Symington, Forfar, had forward 331 Store Cattle and 90 Breeding Cattle. Cows with calves sold to £2,450 West Park, £1,650 Ashmore, £2,200 Middlehill. Bulling Heifers £1,350 Davidston.

Bullocks (197) sold to £1,325 from Gairdrum to ave 224p.

Heifers (129) sold to £1,200 from Hillfoot to ave 216p.
