David Harewood: Psychosis and Me

Best known for his roles in US dramas Homeland and Supergirl, David Harewood MBE is one of Britain’s best known and well-respected actors. However, what many people may not realise is that when he was 23 years old, he had a psychotic breakdown and was sectioned. Now, in this film, David pieces together what happened to him in the hope that it will help him and other people better understand the misconceptions around psychosis. He hears from people who are going through their own mental health crises and meets two inspirational young people from an Early Intervention drop-in group in Solihull.
