STEVENSON Funeral Directors opens its fourth funeral home in Cowdenbeath on Monday May 27 2019, making them the largest independent funeral directors in Fife.

The company’s approach of highquality care and service at lower than average costs has seen it go from strength to strength since it opened its doors in 2012. Managing director Barry Stevenson said: “The opening of our Cowdenbeath Funeral Home means we are reaching areas of Fife we hadn’t before. This is important when we have increasing incidents of funeral poverty.”

Mr Stevenson says funeral poverty is a real issue, where families struggle to afford the cost of a funeral. “Families in our communities suffer from this every day. funerals, all with a flexible approach to suit each family. Prepaid funerals are also available, as are flexible payment terms.
