Glamis to host doggie movie fest

-

Glamis Castle is aiming to attract a new breed of visitor with its first doggie-friendly cinema night next month.

The tourist attraction in Angus has staged a host of openair events, including movie screenings and the popular Glamis Prom.

On June 1, families can take their four-legged friends to the castle for a screening of The Secret Life Of Pets.

A spokesperson for organisers Blue Monkey Events said: “There will be awards on the night for best dog over a few different categories.”

The castle is a favourite with dog owners across the UK, including participants in the sport of Cani-X who take on a cross-country course through the grounds of the Earl of Strathmore’s family home as part of the Fur Nations championship.
