EU ADVICE
Mid Fife and Glenrothes SNP MSP Jenny Gilruth will hold an EU advice surgery with Citizens Advice and Rights Fife from 10.30am to 12.30pm on Friday at the Coal Industry Social Welfare Organisation (Ciswo) in Glenrothes.
SCHOOLS Award-winning illustrator Chris Judge will visit Kirkcaldy West Primary and Crossford Primary on Friday as part of the Scottish Friendly Children’s Book Tour.
ART
Four Fife artists will display their work at the Off the Rails Arthouse in Ladybank Station from 11am to 4pm on Saturday and Sunday.
Sheila Page from Cupar, Alison Cage from Kilmany, Sharon Black from Ladybank, and Laura Appere from Dunshalt have joined forces for the free Living in Colour exhibition.
NEEDLEWORK
The Fife branch of the Embroiderers’ Guild has more than 100 pieces of needlework art on show in the Rothes Halls, Glenrothes.
The branch is also working on a 12-panel frieze depicting the Fife Coastal Path which forms part of the free exhibition running until November 9.
TAPESTRY
A satirical artwork in the form of a fake medieval tapestry has gone on show at St Andrews Library.
The Trumped-up Tapestry – The Chronicle of Mercia, by Dairsie artist Mike Middleton, runs until October 19.
