FOWLIS and LIFF. Liddy Laird gave a talk on the Uphill Trust, a charity that gives 100% of donations to Uphill Primary School and Kindergart­en in a remote part of western Uganda. Sales of jewellery, books and knitted dolls brought by Liddy raised £200 and direct donations made amounted to £165.30 – including an institute donation of £100 from the proceeds of the charity coffee morning in the summer.
