Park home developer Heritage Park Estates has launched a multi-millionpound residential development outside Blairgowrie.

Burnbank Residential Park at Carsie is transforming the site of an existing residential park with 38 luxurious homes in a secure, gated park for people aged over 50.

New properties, supplied by Willerby Bespoke, are currently arriving daily on site.

Heritage Park Estates director Nathan Smith said the park had been badly in need of investment when it had been acquired.

Around £350,000 has been invested on infrastructure.

This has included a new electric gate entrance with 24-hour CCTV, monoblocked central road and forecourt, new lighting, and the creation of a dedicated sales office.

Mr Smith said: “Downsizing customers are very discerning nowadays, often taking time to find the right park for their needs.

“The park was in a great location, with strong transport links and a bus stop right outside, but we wanted to create something special.

“This park is the result of many months of careful planning.

“Each park home has its own driveway and private garden. There are lovely views on all sides.”

Simple Approach Estate Agency in Perth is assisting with sales with some purchases secured during the lockdown period as a result of online tours.

Local building firm McKenzie Burke can add bespoke elements to properties.

So far, buyers have come from Coventry, West Sussex, several parts of Scotland, and as far afield as Australia, with a buyer returning to Perthshire to retire.
