Heavy lambs were in demand with 43kg+ averaging 213p/kg and the overall ave for 1,723 sold 209.7p, +6.4p on the week (+53p on the year) or +£22.78. Top price of the day went to Bankhead, Milnathort, for a 52kg Beltex lamb at £126. Top ppk West Leys, Errol, for a 45kg Texel X at 256ppkg.
