Kelty will look to take Tannadice form into meeting with Strollers

Kelty Hearts switch back to their Lowland League campaign today after giving Dundee United a tough time in the Betfred Cup at the weekend and head to the capital to take on Civil Service Strollers at Christie Gillies Park.

Strollers took a point from a 0- 0 draw with BSC Glasgow in midweek after an opening day defeat to East Stirlingsh­ire but Hearts boss Barry Ferguson will not be taking the Edinburgh side lightly as his side look to build on their 4-0 win over Edinburgh University last weekend.

Five teams have 100% records at the top from two games – East Kilbride, Bonnyrigg Rose, new boys Bo’ness United, East Stirlingsh­ire and Spartans.

East of Scotland League Premier Division

Crossgates Primrose are unbeaten in their opening two games away from home drawing with Linlithgow Rose and Jean field Swifts but manager Alan Campbell is unlikely to make many changes to his side as they entertain Tranent.

Dundonald Bluebell’s first home game of the season sees them entertain Premier Division leaders Lothian Thistle Hutchison Vale and without John Cameron, Liam Craig and Ross Drommond.

Hill of Beath Hawthorn will be looking to build on their midweek win over Dunbar United as they welcome Blackburn United to Kiers Park. Haws boss John Mitchell is without Ricky Patrick who broke his leg last weekend at Tranent.

Inverkeith­ing Hillfield Swifts could be in for a tough afternoon as they welcome Pe ni cuik Athletic to Ballast Park. Swifts expect to have a full squad available.

Jeanfield Swifts boss Ross Gunnion was disappoint­ed with his side’ s draw against Crossgates in midweek and will be looking for an improvemen­t as they welcome White hill Welfare to Riverside.

First Division Conference A

St Andrews boss Charlie King knows they will have to be at their best if they are to take anything from the trip to take on Edinburgh South at Dalkeith’s Kings Park.

Dylan Honeyman is the only one to definitely miss out, while Scott Cunningham, Willie Campbell and Douglas Crowe picked up knocks in training.

Kennoway Star Hearts face Edinburgh United in confident mood after wins over Arniston Rangers and Rosyth.

Richardson hopes that Lee Bryce will recover from a knock picked up at Rosyth but is definitely without Louis O’Rourke due to work commitment­s.

Kirkcaldy and Dysart manager Craig Ness will demand a reaction as his side take on Craigroyst­on at home and is likely to make changes.

Rosyth travel to take on Ormiston at Recreation Park and are expected to have the same squad available as in midweek.
