Leafleting should have been stopped

Sir, – As usual, the Conservative and Unionist Party ignore the implicit agreement by all political parties to cease electioneering until at least today, as a sign of respect to the Duke of Edinburgh.

I was disgusted to find Conservative supporters hand delivering leaflets in Kinross and much of the shire.

The leaflet contains no policies, only a headline “how to stop another independence referendum.”

Hopefully this effort will be universally condemned.
