Cowden boss wants to see more of the same

-

Cowdenbeath boss Gary Bollan has asked for a repeat of Saturday’s performance and win over Elgin as his side prepare to head to Albion Rovers tonight where a victory would see Bollan’s side jump above their Coatbridge hosts in the table.

The Blue Brazil picked up their first three-point haul since League Two returned by beating promotion-chasing Elgin 1-0 to help move them seven points clear of Brechin at the foot of the table.

Bollan said: “We are more than capable of going to Cliftonhill and repeating that performance.

“I stand by what I say, we have good players in our dressing room, and they will admit themselves that they had underperformed in the first games since coming back.

“It is a tough time and demanding schedule, but we need to carry the performance from Saturday into the Albion Rovers game.

“We want play just as well, create as many chances and hopefully come away with three points.

“If we go there and come away with them in any sort of manner, I will be happy.

“Everyone is at stake.” knows what
