Perth’s Scott Donaldson will miss next week’s World Snooker Championships following a heavy defeat in last night’s final qualifying round against Matthew Selt in Sheffield.

The pair were evenly matched on paper and the first four frames were shared, but Donaldson failed to pot a ball in two of the last three frames, as Selt rolled in two century breaks to win 10-3.
