Savour a taste of Perthshire this September
The Great Perthshire Food and Drink Festival 2021 is taking place throughout the month, celebrating all the delicious produce available in the region
As well as boasting gorgeous scenery, the region of Perthshire is also home to a thriving food and drink scene.
From local producers and distilleries to cafes and restaurants, there’s lots to sink your teeth into in this area.
Now, for the month of September, it’s easier than ever to enjoy a true taste of Perthshire. Kicking off on September 1 and continuing throughout the month is the Great Perthshire Food and Drink Festival 2021.
Supported by Great Perthshire, Scotland Food and Drink and the local council, it involves more than 50 events, listings and happenings across the region.
If you’ve always wanted to learn more about Perthshire’s seasonal and locally sourced produce, and the passionate producers, growers, chefs and mixologists who help create it, this festival is your chance to do exactly that.
From tucking into afternoon teas and lunches to making cocktails or chocolate, sampling the best whisky and gin, and learning more about foraging, there’s plenty to keep you busy – and full! – during the festival.
Plus, it’s a great opportunity to celebrate the talented Perthshire people and businesses behind the region’s food and drink industry – something that’s especially appreciated after a challenging spell.
You can find out more about all festival events at www.greatperthshire.com or pick up a brochure locally at venues or Visit Scotland iCentres.
In the meantime, here are just a few of the unmissable events coming up during September.
