Bluebell seal loan move for Mansouri

-

Dundonald Bluebell manager Stephen Husband will include new loan signing Adam Mansouri in the squad as he takes his side to New Murrayfield Park to face Blackburn United in the Premier Division.

Bluebell have had a win and a defeat in their opening league fixtures and will head south looking to take maximum points from a Blackburn side who have yet to win in the league.

Crossgates Primrose have the same record as Bluebell in the Premier Division and take on new boys Haddington Athletic at Millfield. Manager Alan Campbell is expected to have the same squad that beat Thornton Hibs 1-0 in the EOS Qualifying Cup on Tuesday.

Three wins from three and Jeanfield Swifts lead the division on goal difference from Penicuik Athletic.

Ross Gunnion’s men face Broxburn Athletic at Riverside looking to maintain their 100% record and remain in top spot.

Gunnion should have the same squad available that won 4-2 at Tynecastle last week.

It has been a baptism of fire for new boys Oakley United and it is difficult to see that changing as they face Linlithgow Rose at home.

It is the Rose’s second trip into Fife in a week as they beat Rosyth 3-2 at The Fleet Grounds on Tuesday night. United hope to have a full squad available but it will be a late selection with a couple of players carrying knocks following the 2-0 win at Livingston United on Tuesday.

After their opening three games, Hill of Beath are still looking for their first win of the season with two draws and a defeat so far.

Jason Dair’s men face a tough trip to take on a Penicuik Athletic side that are only second on goal difference from Jeanfield Swifts.

Inverkeithing Hillfield Swifts were knocked out of the East of Scotland Qualifying Cup by HeriotWatt University on Tuesday with a number of players being rested.

The starting XI this afternoon is likely to have a more familiar look as Swifts travel south to take on bottom club Vale of Leithen at Victoria Park.

Burntisland Shipyard have yet to record their first win of the season and today face a difficult trip to take on a Dunbar United side that have won both of their First Division games.

Scott Donald and Steven Jeffries return for Kirkcaldy & Dysart as they play host to Whitehill Welfare but Mark Wilkie, Robert Wilson and John Smith drop out.

Glenrothes’ lengthy injury list has meant it has been a far from perfect start for the Fife side, who sit in seventh place. They face Leith Athletic at Meadowbank today.

Lochore Welfare are in a much better place for their game at home to Coldstream and can call on the services of Ewan Sutherland, Sean Cusick and Joe Dawson after they missed the defeat at Whitehill Welfare on Tuesday.

Luncarty manager Robbie Holden was delighted with his side’s performance in thrashing Camelon 5-0 at Carmuirs Park in midweek but knows that another topdrawer effort will be needed as his team take on a young and talented Kennoway Star Hearts side at home.

Rosyth were a little unlucky not to get more from their excellent performance against Linlithgow Rose in midweek, going down 3-2 to the Premier Division heavyweights in the Qualifying Cup, and will need a similar level of performance if they are to get anything from their trip to The Pennypit to take on Preston Athletic.

In the Second Division, Lochgelly Albert are away to Edinburgh United and will be at full strength.

Newburgh welcome Edinburgh South to East Shore Park and can call upon the services of experienced pair Andy Cameron and Michael Perrie.

Thornton Hibs are on their travels to take on Ormiston, while St Andrews host league leaders Syngenta and will welcome back Reece Redpath after suspension.
