Equipment sale sees very strong demand

There was demand for good clean tractors and plant equipment at the Thainstone Online Collective sale last week.

Strong prices were achieved, with bidders joining from as far away as Poland. Highlights from the sale included a 2015 Takeuchi TB295W Wheeled Excavator which went for the hammer price of £28,200, followed by a 2014 JCB 541-70 Wastemaster Telehandler selling for £20,500.

In the lorries section a 2015 Mercedes Arocs 3236K 8x4 Hookloader sold at £18,000 and in the vehicles, commercials and 4x4s category a 2016 Volkswagen Amarok 2.0 TDi Highline 4 motion auto achieved £14,800.

The implements and small agricultural equipment section saw a McConnel PA6065 VFR Side Arm Mower sell for £12,500 and the small plant section saw a Genie Z45 15m Cherry Picker sell for £6,400.
