PKAVS’ Ruby Ball bound to sparkle
A DAZZLING fundraiser is to be held to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Perth’s largest local charity, PKAVS.
Tickets are selling fast for the Anniversary Ruby Ball on the banks of the tay, which will launch a year of birthday celebrations.
The ruby-themed evening at Dunkeld Hilton House Hotel will bring together supporters from business, politics and the local community.
It will include entertainment from T in the Park tent headliners the Big Shoogle and the annual PKAVS’ charity auction.
Lisa Glenday, event organiser from PKAVS, said: “We are thrilled to mark the special occasion of 40 years of ‘Making the Difference’ through our Ruby Ball.
“Not many people realise that we were established as far back as 1972 and have been providing vital support to local people across Perth and Kinross for four decades.
“The charity ball is our main annual fundraising event and attracts supporters from across Perth and Kinross.
“With the event plans now in full swing, we’re preparing for another glam- orous night of fun and fundraising and hope that our supporters can join us.”
