admitted he persistently misused the 999 service at Barvick Cottage, near Crieff, on September 2 last year.

He has called on the Scottish Government to provide tailored support for Scotland’s small and medium sized enterprises.

A Fe d e r a t i o n of Small Businesses report revealed micro-businesses make up 27% of private sector jobs.

“Within Mid-Scotland and Fife micro-businesses are integral to the local economy of rural towns,” said Mr Fraser. “Tourism in Highland Perthshire is driven by enterprising small restaurants and boutique shops which offer tourists unique shopping experiences.

“Furthermore, these businesses also provide flexibility for part-time employees, as well as providing a mixture of entry level and skilled jobs.”

He added: “The Scottish Government needs to be more inclusive and innovative in their approach to smaller businesses.” A MOTORIST who was caught speeding at more than 100mph on the M90 motorway was yesterday fined £500 at Perth Sheriff Court.

David Harrower (36), of Sherbrooke Road, Rosyth, admitted that on August 11 on the M90 Perth to Inverkeithing road at junction 5, Gairneybridge, he drove at 108.1mph – the limit is 70.

Harrower was detected by police carrying out speed checks on the motorway.

In addition, he was given a five-month driving ban.
