Haws name unchanged squad to take on Lochee in mid-table test

- Premier League

THE TWO Courier Country clubs that sit in the relative comfort of mid-table Super League meet at Keirs Park today when Lochee United are Hill o’Beath’s visitors.

Three points separate the pair, though the Haws have a game in hand.

H aw s boss Jock Finlayson has named the same squad that held Bonnyrigg to a draw last week. Paul Blackwood is Bluebells’ only absentee.

Tayport, who are four games undefeated, head for Armadale nine points behind their hosts, who are just above the drop zone.

Bar ry Donachie is suspended while John Tonner is unavailable.

There are doubts over Ruaridh Donladson, Paul Thomson, Connaire Connelly and Ross Grant.

Kelty Hearts player-boss Tam Courts knows his side will have to be at their very best when welcoming third-placed Bonnyrigg.

Cour ts and Roger Duffin both are back in contention for Kelty, but Mark Forbes begins a twomatch suspension, while Paddy Deane and Brian Ritchie are also missing.

St A ndrews must start posting some victories if they are to stay up, especially at home to Ballingry Rovers, one of the teams within catching distance.

They go into the game boosted by the signing of Lee Sibanda, who was recently released by A rbroath.

He will go straight in the side beside his brother, Barry, with Saints’ squad otherwise unchanged from the one that lost narrowly at Armadale last week.

Ballingry have only 11 fit outfield players, so drafting in trialists will be required to make up a bench. A mong the absentees are the transferlisted Ryan Blackadder and injured A dam Moffat.

Promotion contenders Jeanfield Swifts and Bathgate Thistle meet at Riverside Stadium.

It was Gavin Prices’s first game in charge when the pair met first time and Swifts ended the Lothian side’s then 100% record with a 3-1 victory.

Price will rely on the same squad as last week when they defeated Kinnoull.

Oakley are a point behind them , but with two games in hand, so they’ll be hoping Perth neighbours Kinnoull can do them a favour at Blairwood Park.

The hosts have Kevin Fotheringham struggling with a calf strain while striker A lan McDonough will require a late fitness test.

Kinnoull manager Murray McDowell includes new signing, midfielder Jamie Reilly, b ut Chris Dodd is unavailable while Daryn Smith faces a possible fitness test.

Kinnoull have also two players available for transfer — midfielders Bally Whytock and Drew Fleming.

A ll inquiries to Kinnoull president Chris Jones on 07940 814370. Fixtures (kick-offs 2pm):
