F O R FA R ’ S MARK Baxter is hoping to be flushed with Scottish Cup success after putting the finishing touches to a new bathroom this morning.

The 28-year-old will warm up for the William Hill Scottish Cup tie with St Johnstone at Station Park with a couple of hours of hard graft in his house.

The defender firmly believes Dick Campbell’s League One underdogs are more than capable of causing an upset.

However, Baxter, who began his career with Saints, is fully aware that Forfar cannot afford to drop their guard for a moment — especially with the dangerous Stevie May, who has scored 20 goals already this season, in the Premiership side’s ranks.

Baxter said: “There is always a bit of extra excitement as a player when Scottish Cup games come around, especially when you are drawn to play a Premiership side.

“It is shaping up as a busy day for me as I am putting in a new bathroom at home just now. So I will work for a couple of hours in the morning, adding the finishing touches before heading off to the game.

“St Johnstone are a really good side and they will still be hurting after last week’s disappointing League Cup semi-final loss toAberdeen.

“I am sure they

will have a point or two to prove as they look to bounce back against us.

“I am a Perth lad and enjoyed my time with the club. I am certain I will get pelters from the Saints fans but to be honest it is all a bit of fun and it is water off a duck’s back.

“But I am really looking forward to the game against St Johnstone.”
