Last four aim to be in good voice for the final

THE LAST remaining contestant­s will battle it out for the title of winner of The Voice after four singers were knocked out in Saturday night’s live semi-finals.

Eight semi- f inalists performed a solo cover song and a group song with their mentor and team-mate, before four bowed out in the penultimat­e stage of the competitio­n which was decided by a public vote.

Each celebrity judge will be represente­d by one singer in the last stage.

Singer Jamie Johnson, 19, from Gillingham, Kent, received the most public votes for Kylie Minogue’s team to eliminate Lee Glasson, 31, from Coventry.

Tom Jones will be represente­d in the final by Sally Barker, 54, from Leicester, after 43-yearold Bizzi Dixon, also from Leicester, was eliminated.

Kaiser Chiefs frontman Ricky Wilson will have 20-year-old Christina Marie, from Bristol, as his sole contestant after Chris Royal, from Manchester, lost out.

Will.i.am’s finalist is 19- year- old Jer maine Jackman, from London, wh o r e c e ive d more public votes than the show’s youngest contestant, Sophie-May Williams, 17, from Wakefield.

The final of The Voice airs on Sunday at 7pm on BBC One.
