Calling all Courier Country businesses.
You have just one week left to get your entries in for The Courier Business Awards 2015, the single largest and most prestigious annual celebration of the commercial world in east central Scotland.
The awards, which are again being held in association with chartered accountants Henderson Loggie, are designed to be as relevant to the small business community operating across Dundee, Angus, Perthshire and Fife as to the corporate giants who have made a home in this corner of the world.
“We are fortunate to have a vibrant local business scene, and The Courier Business Awards are about celebrating the success we, as the local newspaper, see on our doorstep every day,” editor Richard Neville said.
“The awards are an amazing opportunity for all local firms to show what they are about.
“By participating, companies have the chance to demonstrate their potential, crow about their successes and show how innovative and go-ahead they are.
“Many of our past winners tell us they see success at The Courier Business Awards as great recognition of the hard work they and their staff have put in to build their companies.
“But they also tell us that having a Courier Business Award on display on the reception desk or in the boardroom cabinet is hugely important as an independent badge of quality.

He said there are only a few days left to enter this year’s awards. Entry is free and only takes a few minutes online.
“It might just be the best business decision you make this year,” he added.
The number of categories for this year’s awards has been expanded to 17, with individual prizes for a number of sectors including digital, manufacturing, retail and rural.
There are also new awards for 2015 including deal of the year and categories for the apprentice of the year and young business.
The Local Matters Award – which will recognise an outstanding business in Angus, Dundee, Fife and Perthshire – has also been introduced.
We will also crown The Courier’s overall Business of the Year at the gala awards dinner at the Fairmont St Andrews Resort on November 27.
Companies are welcome to enter more than one category at the awards.
The deadline for applications expires on Friday June 26.
