American naturalist to give talk at St Matthew’s Church

A naturalist is to bring together theories surrounding science and theology in the creation at a talk in Perth.

The Rev Dr Doug Ganyo, who is inspired by John Muir, will be preaching in St Matthew’s Church tomorrow at 11am.

Doug is associate pastor at First Presbyterian Church, Fernandina Beach, Florida, and has exchanged pulpits with Perth minister Scott Burton twice, in the summers of 2009 and 2014.

He and his wife are on holiday, travelling to Norway where Doug’s wife Judy has family roots. They are stopping off in Scotland on their return trip to the USA.

Doug plans to visit John Muir’s home in Dunbar and walk a part of the John Muir Way.
