Dundee has again responded most satisfactorily to the appeal on behalf of our Allies. Saturday was Russian flag day in the city and the liberality of the citizens was on a magnificent scale. The sum of £867 was collected at the Dundee Women’s War Relief Fund Committee, with Mrs Don, wife of the Lord Provost, at its head, deserves great credit. Many calls have been made upon the people of Dundee since the war started and none has been made in vain. Our sympathy goes out to our brave Allies.
