Hotting up at Highland

To everyone’s relief the weather warmed up yesterday at the Royal Highland Show, making the big jackets everyone had brought with them largely redundant.

The Ingliston show ground also had the appearance of being much busier, but appearances can be deceptive.

On Thursday the alley ways seemed quieter than usual but, according to the official figures, attendance was actually 42,941, up a very encouraging 4,548 on the year.
