Thomas gains as in-form Kristoff wins

Geraint Thomas trimmed the gap with leader Thibaut Pinot on the seventh stage of the Tour de Suisse, with in-form Alexander Kristoff taking victory on the day following a sprint finish.

Norway’s Kristoff held off the challenge of Slovakian Peter Sagan on the uphill finish to clinch the 164.6km ride from Biel to Dudingen.
