Games swimmers together
Three generations of Perth Commonwealth Games swimmers came together yesterday at a touring exhibition that has arrived at the Dewars Centre.
The display has been drawn from the Commonwealth Games Scotland Archive held by the University of Stirling.
‘Hosts and Champions: Scotland in the Commonwealth Games’, supported by Live Active Leisure, celebrates more than 80 years of participation by Scotland in the Commonwealth Games and show cases achievements from 1930 through to 2014.
It will be at the Dewars Centre until June 26, and is free. It is the only Tayside venue in a year-long touring programme.
Milne won a relay medal in the pool at Glasgow last summer, while Sandy Gellatly competed in three Games(1958, 1966 and 1970) and Gary Watsons wam in 1986 and 1990.
