Motorcyclist dies in crash

A man has died after a crash involving his motorbike and a car on an unclassified road.

The crash in Aberdeenshire happened at about 2pm on Saturday on the stretch between the B976 South Deeside Road at Strachan and the B974 Cairn o’Mount road and involved a blue Suzuki GSXR motorcycle and a grey Toyota Hilux car, police said.

Officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash to come forward.
