Celebrated crime author to meet fans at Perth library talk

-

Celebrated crime writer Shona MacLean will give Perth fans an insight into her latest novel at an event in the city’s North Inch Library this week.

The author, who changed her name to SG MacLean to make her work more appealing to men, is best known as the creator of disgraced minister turned teacher Alexander Seaton, the central characters in four of her novels set in 17th Century Scotland.

Shona will discuss and read extracts from her most recent book, The Seeker, which is set during the time of Oliver Cromwell.

Admission to Friday evening’s event is £5 and places must be booked by emailing northinchlibrary@pkc.gov.uk or calling 01738 454406.
