Pupils rise to the challenge of conquering Ben Nevis

As part of their outdoor education programme, pupils at Morrison’s Academy had the opportunity to climb Ben Nevis.

There were many groups taking part and among them was former pupil Rebecca Dickie, now a litigation lawyer in London, who was completing her ascent of the last of the UK’s three highest peaks.

The group wrapped up well and at about 800m met snow. By the top, the snow was knee-deep and the summit cairn was buried.
