Fife woman’s death a mystery

Jennifer Edwards was found dead in her Kirkcaldy flat last Sunday

However, the mother of two is reported to have experienced personal difficulties in recent years.

One elderly resident told The Courier that she had seen Ms Edwards around the development in the past.

However, she added that she was not overly concerned by the continued police presence nearby.

“A lot of people come and go around here but she had been here for a few years,” she said.

“There’s not been much going on since last week – just a couple of officers keeping guard outside the end flat.

“It’s a bit disconcerting but I wouldn’t say that anybody was worried.

“I’ve lived here for a few years though and I can’t remember anything like this happening before.”

Police maintain a vigil outside the Deas’ Wharf property.
