Dr Bob completes epic charity walk around Fife Coastal Path

-

Dr Bob Grant, who lost his leg to cancer, completed his epic 117-mile walk for Maggie’s on Sunday.

He was seen to the finish by more than 100 bikers from the Dunedin Chapter of Harley-Davidson Owners.

Dr grant was first diagnosed with cancer as a teenager, just weeks after he lost his best friend to the disease. He decided to have his leg amputated in 2002 after living for years with pain and infection.

The walk, his fourth for Maggie’s, started on June 13 at the Kelpies just a few miles from the site of Maggie’s Forth Valley.

Walking for nine continuous days he was joined by groups of friends and supporters along the way.
