Distillery officially opens doors

First Minister Nicola Sturgeon has officially opened Scotland’s newest malt whisky distillery.

The Dalmunach distillery on Spey side was originally commissioned by Chivas Brothers in 2012.

A total of £25 million was invested in the site – Chivas’ 14th operating malt distillery– and whisky production began last October.
