The Scottish Crannog Centre on Loch Tay will be the venue for a food celebration with a difference on Thursday. The team will be staging an Iron Age Gourmet Day between 11am and 4.30pm to explore some of the food and drink enjoyed by our ancestors. Evidence uncovered by archaeologists, both from the land and under water, has revealed that the past occupants of Loch Tay enjoyed a hugely varied diet. Visitors to this week’s event will be offered an insight into what they ate.
