Scot Donald Love comes back into contention, but Wayne Rooney, Marouane Fellaini and Matteo Darmian are out, as are Phil Jones, Luke Shaw, Ashley Young and Bastian Schweinsteiger.

LIVERPOOL defender Dejan Lovren is a doubt with illness for the visit of Augsburg.

The Croatian trained earlier this week but then fell sick and it remains to be seen how he recovers.

Fellow centre-back Martin Skrtel and midfielder Joe Allen are both out as Jurg en Kl opp’ s men look to progress after a goalless first leg. Harry Kane will miss

Kane had an operation yesterday and will sit out the clash at White Hart Lane – the first leg ended 1-1 – but he is expected to return for the Premier League clash at home to Swansea on Sunday.
