Dancers get ready for winter ball

More than 140 Scottish country dance enthusiasts are in Perth shire for the annual Royal Scottish Country Dance Society (RSCDS) winterschool.

The RSCDS event attracts participants from all over the globe and this year it has welcomed dancers from as far a field as Australia and Canada.

Based at Pitlochry’s Atholl Palace Hotel, the highlight of the week is a closing ball at Blair Castle at theweekend.
