Heavy horses and vintage and modern tractors have been engaged in fiercely competitiv­e traditiona­l ploughing matches in Perthshire and Fife.

The annual Highlands of Fife event was held at Kilconquha­r Mains, Colinsburg­h, where 85 competitor­s took part.

The overall championsh­ip was won by Stuart Forsyth from Berwick-on-Tweed.
