Body found on munro

A man’s body has been found near the summit of Ben Lomond.

Mountain rescuers recovered the body of the 48-year-old following the discovery on Friday.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Police in Forth Valley have been made aware that a body has been found close to the summit of Ben Lomond.

“The body of a 48-year-old man was recovered and there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.”
