Perth skiers help Scots to top six finish in Italy
SCHOOLS: Strathallan pair competed against some of the world’s top racers
Two Perth skiers enjoyed success while representing Scotland at a prestigious international competition in Italy.
Scott Buchan and Lyle Ross, both 16-year-old pupils at Strathallan School, were selected to compete at the World Schools Ski Championships in L’Aquila.
Racing against 17 other nations, the Scots put up an impressive fight against some of the best young racers in the world, with the under-18 boys achieving sixth place overall, combining results in slalom and giant slalom.
Scotland also won the fair play award for team spirit and friendliness to all other nations.
