Aguerooo has eye on another goal at Lingfield

Tips: Hannon tries successful partnership over minimum distance

- The Ferret

AGUEROOO is fancied to continue his good form in the Daily Unibet Early Prices From 9am Handicap at Lingfield.

The Richard Hannon-trained threeyear-old has struck up a fine relationship with 7lb claimer Hollie Doyle, scoring over six furlongs at this Surrey venue last month.

Held up, he made nice progress before running on well under pressure to beat the useful Kingsley Klarion.

The decision to drop to five furlongs is an interesting one, but with horse and jockey well suited to each other, it would be dangerous to take him on.

The partnership-in-form comment also applies to ROSE ABOVE in the 32Red Handicap.

Jim Crowley’s mount absolutely dotted up over a mile-and-a-half at Kempton last week, and as a son of Yeats out of a Nashwan mare, his profile suggests there might be more to come trying the best part of two miles for the first time.

If that is the case then a 6lb penalty is unlikely to stop Andrew Balding’s charge from recording a quick double.

There would not appear a great deal of meat on the bone at Catterick, but

CASUAL CAVALIER could be worth a flicker of interest in the Racing UK In Glorious HD Novices’ Handicap Chase.

John Wade’s eight-year-old was no great shakes over hurdles, despite having finished second three times, but chasing could make a man of him.

That certainly looked the case over this course and distance in February when he looked safe and assured on his first outing for nearly a year.

Casual Cavalier finished fourth, but was only beaten just over eight lengths and should be a lot fitter than when last sighted in North Yorkshire.

In what does not look an epic encounter, this could be a race for the taking.
