Washing line best

-

Variations in weather conditions at FORBES OF KINGENNIE have made fishing more challenging but some excellent catches have been recorded.

Stalking with small nymphs has been productive on the Boathouse, and, although buzzers and lures have taken their share, the washing line has been the top method.

Mr Kirk had a great day landing 21 on diawl bachs and a fab and Mr Smith had 14 on a damsel nymph.

The Burnside Pool has produced some fine returns on buzzers and variations of the humungus. Mr Wilson had 16 on blobs on a sunk line; Mr Black had three fish for 12lb, with the biggest weighing 8lb.

At Bankside Pool, Mr Sherriff had 12 on dancers, Mr Birse had 11 on a rob roy and Mr Barlow had nine on buzzers.
