STANLEY

An indoor car boot sale will be held at Stanley Village Hall on Saturday September 3 from 10am to 1pm.

Set-up begins at 9am and tables cost £8. To book a place call 01738 828126.

BRIDGE OF EARN

The Earn Singers begin their new session on Thursday at Dunbarney Church Hall, Bridge of Earn.

New members are welcome to attend, particular­ly basses. There are no auditions and all participan­ts are simply asked to turn up and take part.

A spokeswoma­n said: “The music for the next year is varied and there will be something to appeal to everyone.

“Concerts, participat­ion in the Kinross Music Festival and a coffee morning with carols lie ahead so there will be plenty of fun and challenges.”

Rehearsals begin at 7.30pm and normally finish at 9.30 and there is a break halfway through.

TULLOCH

The North Perth Gala will be held at Mathieson Drive football pitch, Tulloch, on Saturday from noon to 4pm.

The community-run event is free and will feature a packed programme of stalls and entertainm­ent.

Now in its third year, the gala is held in partnershi­p with the Tulloch Community Group and the Letham Residents Associatio­n. Events include a tombola, bouncy castle and falconry display.

KINROSS

Glenfarg Village Folk Club will next meet at the Green Hotel, Kinross, on Monday August 29. Doors open at 7.30pm and the music starts at 8. Entry is £3.

ERROL

Errol Flower Show will be held in the town’s village hall on Saturday.

Schedules for the show are available at local shops. Doors open for preparatio­ns from 7pm the night before and then from 8 to 9.30am on Saturday. The hall will open for viewing of exhibits at 1.30pm.

PERTH

Bankfoot Wednesday Club will resume at 2pm on Wednesday September 14 in the Community Church.
