ERROL Errol Flower Show’s annual general meeting will be on Thursday October 6 in Errol village small hall at 7.30pm.

INNER LINK At a recent meeting of the Inner Link Club of Perth at the Lovat Hotel, 66 ladies and one guest were in attendance.

President Kaye Sinclair introduced the speaker for the day, Andrew Arbuckle – a journalist, author, former councillor in Fife and former MSP.

The next meeting is on Wednesday October 5 when Lisa Strachan and Deidre McVean will give a talk on Guide Dogs.

APPEAL Glenfarg RDA, Smiddyhill, Glenfarg, is on the lookout for volunteers to assist with everything from leading ponies to fundraisin­g.

FLOWER FESTIVAL Dunbarney and Forgandenn­y Church and Perth Flower Club are holding a joint fundraisin­g flower festival entitled Special Days in Dunbarney Church, Bridge of Earn, on Friday, 11am to 4pm, Saturday, 10am to 4pm, and Sunday 2pm to 4pm.

Refreshmen­ts will be available and entry to the festival is by a donation of your choice.

CATHEDRAL CONCERT Friends of Perth Cathedral Music (FPCM) are pleased to welcome the East Fife Male Voice Choir in concert at Perth Cathedral St Ninian’s, North Methven Street, on Saturday at 7.30pm.

Tickets are available at the door priced at £10, £8 concession­s, £6 FPCM members, accompanie­d children free. Proceeds will go towards musical training in the cathedral.

ST SERF’S CHURCH, ALMONDBANK The coffee day at Bertha Park Farm recently raised £2,300 which will be donated to Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance and Macmillan Cancer Care. Gratitude was extended to all who supported the event or gave donations.
