AMULREE. The group held a bingo tea when £162 was raised.
BRIDGE OF EARN .Mrs W Scott presided. Secretary Mrs S Murray made arrangements for the autumn group meeting at Dunning. Linda Sinclair, an alternative therapist, gave a talk and demonstration. CARSE GROUP. The Rural Blend entertained with music and humorous recitations. Competitions: Margaret Gordon Inter-Institute Trophy for crafts on a Beatrix Potter Theme – Errol Institute; lettuce soup – 1 A Mailer, Scone; 2 A Sidey, Balbeggie; photograph of a country scene – 1 A Sidey, Balbeggie; 2 J Rougvie, Collace and Kinrossie; 3 A Laing, Scone. Retiring chairwoman Sheena Kyle handed over to incoming chairwoman Janet Rougvie, who thanked the judges from Kinross.
CLEISH. Helen Buchanan presided. Cleish members performed a murder mystery play, Café Murder. Competitions: smoothie – 1 E Craig, 2 H Cassells; Halloween mask – 1 F Gibb, 2 H McDougall, 3 H Cassells; flower of the month – 1 E Glennie, 2 E Craig, 3 H McDougall.
CLUNIE. Mrs Rutherford gave a talk on calligraphy. Competition: bloom of the month – 1 J Wightman, 2 M Webster, 3 M Morrison. COLLACE and KINROSSIE. Janet Rougvie introduced Marion and Kevin Bickerstaffe who gave an illustrated talk about Peru. MEIKLEOUR. President Christine Fleming welcomed Kate Imlay, who showed her calico garden embroidery.

RATTRAY. Muriel Brown welcomed speaker Linda Retson, federation chairwoman and senior national vice-chairwoman. Chris McLeay gave thanks. STRATHALLAN. Susan Crawford, vice-president, welcomed members and Mayur Yadar from Re:make, Scotland, based in Crieff, a charity which accepts donations of material, waste material and furniture for reuse and resale.
