LETHAM Thieves who broke into a phone box in Perth’s Firbank Road on October 13 made off with a quantity of money.

The theft took place at around 10pm and police are keen to hear from Letham residents who may have seen suspicious activity.

Donations of clothing, shoes, books, bric-a-brac, curtains, cushions, toys and games and even small items of furniture will be welcomed.

The charity’s annual Shoe Box Appeal, which takes a Christmas gift and a message of hope to thousands of vulnerable people in Eastern Europe and Pakistan, is also under way.
