Concern growing over two Perthshire men

Fears are growing for two missing Perthshire men.

Officers continue to investigat­e the disappeara­nce of pastor Peter Edwards, 65, who was reported missing from his home address in Scone on Tuesday, November 1.

Mr Edwards, originally from New York, was seen arriving in Aberdeen around noon the day he went missing.

He moved to Scotland around 30 years ago and is an associate pastor at the Perth Christian Fellowship.

“We are continuall­y praying for him and will continue to do so until he is found,” a church member said.

Mr Edwards is 5ft 9ins, balding with a grey beard and sideburns and gold rimmed glasses.

He speaks with an American accent. When last seen he was wearing a long sleeved grey shirt, black tank top, tie, grey trousers and black leather shoes.

Meanwhile, police are also looking for informatio­n on 68-year-old David Smith who has been missing since Thursday.

He was last seen in Glover Street, Perth.

The Perth man is known to travel throughout Scotland and has connection­s in the Aberdeen, Dundee and Glasgow areas where he has also lived for periods of time.

He is around 6ft, of stocky build with greying short receding hair.

When last seen he was wearing a brown jacket, grey jumper, dark trousers and black slippers.

Anyone with informatio­n on either man should contact police on 101.
